l'accent circonflexe!!!!!

l'accent circonflexe(lyakswan circonflex) is generally used on the vowels a, e, i, o and u. It is basically refer to the originality of the word that had been now modified to the newer version of the word however still designates their origin. There are lots of words that had been modified till now and the use of circonflexe is one of them. It is used to designate the presence of word "s"(the most often one) after the vowel a, e, i, o and u in the word.

For eg:
maître comes from the latin word maistre, after the s had been replaced and designated by l'accent circonflexe î.

Similarly the l'accent circonflexe is also used to distinguish between two meaning with the same word.

For eg:
Le stylo est sur la table.(la stilo ay sur laa taabl)
The pen is on the table.
je suis sûr.(za suis swur)I am sure.
