The construction "en train de(an thran the)" following with infinitive verb is used to describe an action happenning at the time of speaking. It refers to the Present Continious Tense in English.
For eg:
Mon ami est en train de jouer au foot.(mwo nami ye an thran the juya aau fut)
my friend is playing football.
The negative construction for the same sentence is as follows:
Mon ami n'est pas en train de jouer au foot.(mwo nami nay pa an thran the juya aau fut)
my friend is not playing football).
